2021 Liberty Flames Football - FAQ

In anticipation of the 2021 Football Season, Liberty Athletics is planning on current COVID-19 restrictions to be lifted. The below information is based on that information but is subject to change. This page was last updated January 19, 2021.

1. What will the capacity be for Williams Stadium this fall? 
We anticipate that restrictions will be lifted for the 2021 season so Liberty Athletics is currently operating with that in mind. 

2. Can I buy season tickets this year?
Yes! Season tickets will go on sale on February 1. Contact one of our sales and service consultants at (434) 592-5015 for more information. 

3. What seating changes are there for 2021 at Williams Stadium?
Starting in 2021, all seats will be assigned in the non-student sections. Our former General Admission section is now the East Reserved Bleacher seating area. Enjoy the benefit of having the same seat for all-season amongst your family and friends and not have to worry about getting to the game early to save seats. 
4. What do these changes mean for season and single-game tickets?
For the 2021 season, everyone will have a reserved ticket in all seating areas except for students. Each season ticket holder will be able to select their own seats via our 2021 Football Priority List. This list will be based on 2021 Flames Club Membership Level, Flames Club Priority Points, previous football season ticket history, and then order date/time. The priority deadline is May 1, 2021, where all those who purchased before May 1 will be ranked within the priority order. After May 1, all season ticket holders will be sat based on order date and time. 

5. How can I get the best seats possible?
The way to get the best seats at Williams Stadium is by joining the Flames Club. Membership starts at just $60 and information can be found at LibertyFlamesClub.org or call (434) 582-CLUB (2582). 

6. Is my Flames Club donation refundable?
Flames Club donations are non-refundable. In addition to supporting the mission of Training Champions for Christ in all sports, Flames Club donations carry benefits across all 20 NCAA sports including season ticket benefits for basketball and baseball. 

7. I have a Kid's Club Membership, how does reserved seating affect me?
Flames Kids Club members will be able to get into at least one football game for free this season. Kids Club members will be able to receive $25 off their season ticket should they choose to purchase season tickets with their family. Otherwise, single-game tickets will need to be purchased at a later date and time. More information on the Flames Kids Club can be found at LibertyFlames.com/FKC. 

8. When do single-game tickets go on sale?
Typically, single-game tickets go on sale two to three weeks before the first home football game. That is subject to change though. 

9. When do away game tickets go on sale?
Away game priority is given to Flames Club members at all levels and then open to the public based on remaining availability. Information from away teams is normally sent to the Liberty Ticket Office in June. 

10. How will my tickets be delivered?
Except for Club and Suite areas, all tickets will be delivered via digital delivery.

11. What if my phone is not able to use mobile tickets?
While any smartphone that has internet access can load a mobile ticket or save a mobile ticket to your Google Pay or Apple Wallet app, patrons that are unable to do so can contact the Liberty University Ticket Office. 

12. Are all parking passes digital?
Club and suite passes will be physical passes. All other lots provided by the Flames Club will be digital. 

13. How will Liberty Students be handled?
Enrolled residential students will receive an email notification regarding the updated policies for the 2021 football season closer to the start of the 2021-22 school year. We anticipate it to operate similar to 2019 and before with students being admitted on a first-come, first-served basis with their Flames Pass via the student gate.
