2021 Liberty Flames Baseball - FAQ

Due to government, NCAA, and ASUN guidelines related to COVID-19, Baseball tickets are operating differently. Below are answers to frequently asked questions.

What does capacity look like for the Liberty Baseball Stadium?
Due to restrictions by the government, NCAA, and ASUN conference in regards to capacity and social distancing requirements, Worthington Field will is currently at 1000 person capacity, or 30% of the venue, whichever is less with social distancing.

Who is eligible to receive/purchase tickets to Liberty Flames baseball games this season?  
Because of capacity restrictions, all Liberty baseball home games will be sold/allocated as single-game tickets (no season tickets offered). Ticket allocations will be made to Flames Club members, Liberty students, home and visiting team guests, and sponsorship requirements.

How are baseball tickets allocated?
Single-game tickets will be sold in two-week increments. Flames Club members will have the exclusive right to purchase tickets three days before the public sale begins, and if any tickets are still available, the general public will be given a chance to purchase any remaining tickets.

Flames Fans will have socially distanced, reserved seating, and digital tickets .

Liberty Baseball Stadium Game Day Update
Liberty University is following guidance from federal, state, local, and campus health authorities in conducting home baseball games. The Commonwealth of Virginia's attendance restriction limits the capacity to 250 fans per venue. 
  • Unless exempt by state law, fans are required to wear appropriate face coverings over your nose and mouth from the time of queuing up to enter the stadium until exiting the stadium except when eating and drinking. Disposable face masks will be available for those requesting one at entry gates. 
  • Please stay home if you have any of the CDC identified symptoms that may indicate COVID-19. Additionally, if you have been in close contact with a person who has symptoms or is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19, please stay home. 
  • Practice physical distancing and follow signage throughout the Liberty Baseball Stadium.
  • Exercise good hygiene by washing your hands frequently and avoid touching your face when possible. Handwashing and sanitizer stations are located throughout Liberty the Baseball Stadium. 

How do I get tickets for a baseball game if I am not a Flames Club member?
Should any tickets still be available after completing the ticket allocation process with Flames Club members, tickets will be opened to the general public. Please note that we highly anticipate that only Flames Club members will have the opportunity to attend a game this season. To join the Flames Club please Click Here. What are the parking options for baseball season?
Parking passes will be sent out to single-game purchasers in the Orange (Bailey) Lot. These passes will be available to only Flames Club members. Parking maps for Baseball can be found here .

Will students be able to attend Baseball games?

There will be limited student tickets available for current residential students only. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis at the student gate. Seat assignments will be given at the gate, so please arrive with your entire group. Flames pass is required for entry.

How will the Flames Kid's Club be different?

What are the group ticket options for game day?
The Flame Train is a one-of-a-kind group experience that allows fans to watch the Liberty Baseball team from the Flame Train and surrounding area, which is located behind the right-field fence. Flame Train rental includes tickets for 25 people, the ability to cater or bring your own food, and a private hospitality area to enjoy the game. It will be $100 for games in March, and $125 for games in April and May. For more information, contact the Liberty Ticket Office at (434) 592-5015.

Are we allowed to bring in outside food & beverage if we have food allergies?

Unfortunately, no outside food or beverage will be allowed into the stadium. We do have a wide variety of options at the concessions stand that can accommodate various allergy needs. 

What time do gates open on game day?
Gates will open one hour prior to game time. Box office opens 90 minutes before game time. We anticipate we will sell out most games, so please contact the ticket office in advance if you are interested in attending a game.

Can I return, refund, or exchange my tickets? 
We have a no refund, no exchange policy. If you are unable to attend an event, then you are able to transfer your tickets to a friend or try to sell them. If the game is canceled, then our office will reach out with more information. Each game will be handled on a game-by-game basis. More information about our rain/COVID-19 policy can be found here.

How can I purchase away game tickets?  
Our office does not sell away game regular season tickets. If you would like to attend an away game, we recommend purchasing directly through the opposing team's ticket office. 

What ADA accessible areas are there?
ADA parking (with a valid hangtag) is available in the Bailey parking lot. All gates are ADA accessible and wheelchair/scooter seating is available inside the venue. Please contact the ticket office at (434) 582-7328 for any questions.
