2020-21 Liberty Flames Basketball - FAQ

Due to government, NCAA, and ASUN guidelines related to COVID-19, both Men's and Women's Basketball tickets are operating differently. Please see below for the information on the season. Women's Basketball season ticket sales have been suspended.

What does capacity look like for Liberty Arena?
Due to restrictions by the government, NCAA, and ASUN conference in regards to capacity and social distancing requirements, Liberty Arena will start the season at just 250 patrons per game, as announced by Governor Ralph Northam on Friday, Nov. 13. Should those restrictions change, we hope to be at approximately 17% capacity for the season. This equates to roughly 650 tickets a game.

Who will get tickets to Men's Basketball games at Liberty Arena?
All men's basketball games will be sold as single-game tickets (no season tickets offered) and have been allocated for Flames Club members, Liberty students, home and visiting team tickets, and sponsorship requirements. In the pursuit of an equitable process, tickets not allocated for students, teams, and sponsorships will be allocated in the following way:

Current Flames Club members will be able to request tickets to the number of games that correspond with your level listed below. Each member will be able to purchase up to 6 tickets per game. Tickets will only be available in groups of 2, 4, and 6, based on availability.

  • Sponsorship Level ($25,000) - 15 games
  • Founder's Level ($12,000) - 12 games
  • President's Level  ($6,000) - 6 games
  • Director's Level ($3,000) - 3 games
  • Cornerstone Level ($1,200)  - 1 game
  • Coaches Level ($600) - 1 game
  • Flame Level ($300) - 1 game
  • Eagle Level ($120) - 1 game
  • Talon Level ($60) - 1 game

How are Men's Basketball tickets allocated?
As we work through the ticket request process, we will use the priority levels and points for members. Starting with the Scholarship Level, then continuing through the rest of the levels in order (see above for order of levels).

What if I already ordered Men's Basketball season tickets?
The ticket office has begun processing refunds for all those who purchased Men's Basketball season tickets. It is anticipated that all refunds will be completed by Dec. 1, 2020.
